Shri Pradipsinh Rathod, IAS is a senior civil servant with Government of Gujarat. He has an extensive experience in public administration especially in the fields of Revenue, Panchayats, Rural Development, Urban Development, Civil Supplies and Skill Development at the district and the secretariat levels. As an academician and author in earlier career, and a regular columnist with a leading daily, he has served in various significant Government administrative positions with a wide-ranging experience in policy formation and implementation.

Shri Rathod has held several key responsibilities in various committees in ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summits’ since 2009. His being a field officer has provided him with a strong understanding of grassroots governance, development programmes and effective implementation of government initiatives.

With a strong focus on human resource development and employment-oriented initiatives, Shri Rathod, on behalf of District Administration has received the prestigious “Certificate of Excellence’’ by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for engaging Patan district in agri-allied activities and skill based activities, with a plan to promote entrepreneurship. During his tenure the district was at its zenith in ‘Mukhyamantri Apprenticeships Training Scheme’ where more than 100% apprentices were engaged in various Industries.

Mr. Rathod currently serves as Director, Directorate of Skill Development, Mission Director, Gujarat Skill Development Mission, State Apprenticeship Advisor, and Chairman of Implementation and Monitoring Committee of ‘Namo Gujarat Kaushalya and Rojgar Mission’, the flagship scheme of Government of Gujarat where he contributes to advancing skill-development initiatives and workforce readiness across the State strengthening Gujarat's skill development ecosystem.

His administrative experience and commitment to skill development provide a strong foundation for his role as Registrar of Kaushalya – The Skill University. At KSU, he contributes to strengthening academic and administrative systems, fostering effective stakeholder coordination and supporting the University's vision of creating a skilled, industry-ready and future-ready workforce.

Through his leadership, Shri Rathod aims to further strengthen the University's institutional framework and support its mission of connecting education, skills, industry and employment, thereby contributing to the development of a skilled workforce for Gujarat towards #ViksitBharat@2047.
