A career Civil Servant from 2002 Batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), having twenty-three years of diverse experience handling assignments at Cities, District, State and Central Government. He has held several key positions in the State as well as the Central Government.

Currently, he is working as the Secretary, Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

Before taking over his current role at the Gujarat Government, he was Joint Secretary, IN-SPACe, under Department of Space, Government of India.

His earlier assignments include heading the district administration of some of the largest districts in Gujarat as Collector & District Magistrate. He was Collector Dahod (2009-10), Collector Mehsana (2014-16) and Collector Vadodara (2016-17).

He has worked as Municipal Commissioner of Junagadh (2006) and Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad (2021-2022).

He has received several awards including the “Best Collector Award” for Mehsana and Best District Development Officer for Bharuch.
